The Catholic Church comprises those Particular churches, headed by bishops, in communion with the Pope, the Bishop of Rome, as its highest authority in matters of faith.

Christianity contains three main branches which are;

Christian Beliefs

  1. God created everything
  2. Jesus was sent forr salvation and he is one with God
  3. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary
  4. Jesus died for our sins and wsas crucified
  5. Jesus was buried in a tomb and came back to life three days later
  6. Jesus was resurrected and ascended into Heaven
  7.  Jesus will return and his kingdom will not end
  8. All people can receive salvation
  9. People will be forgiven if they confess their sins

Intro to Christianity

      -          Jesus is the Messiah
-          Jesus takes three forms – the holy spirit, father, son
-          The holy bible is our sacred book
-          Priests, ministers, pastors, pope, directs the church
-          The altar is at the front
-          The candle represents eternal life
-          Judgement day
-          Man is the image of God
-          Jesus, the son of God, was sent to save mankind
-          Belief in God brings salvation
-          The Holy Spirit
-          Man has free will

Christianity literally means “anointed one” is a monotheistic religion based on life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth As presented in the New Testament
Christians believe Jesus is son of God having become man and the saviour of humanity. Christians, therefore, commonly refer to Jesus as Christ or Messiah.
